Some services on this website require us to collect some personal information from you. When you use our services, you’re trusting us with your information. We understand this is a big responsibility and work hard to protect your information and put you in control. As part of this effort and in order to comply with General Data Protection Regulation and similar laws, this document is meant to inform you on how we store and use any information we collect, and how you can update or delete your information. Rivetz, in fact, couldn't care less who you are. Our technology is purposely built to focus only on devices. Our marketing staff can only do their job by talking to people. For this purpose, we use the same tools as many others on the internet. If we're successful, we may be able to change that. Thank you for your support!
User Anonymity and Personal Information
Log files are maintained and analyzed of all requests for files on this website's web servers. Log files do not capture personal information but do capture the user's IP address, which is automatically recognized by our web servers.
Aggregated analysis of these log files is used to monitor website usage. These analyses may be made available to Rivetz Corp. staff and partners to allow them to measure, for example, overall popularity of the site and typical user paths through the site. We also use these analyses to optimize our websites and services; for example, this allows us to better track the impact and priority of bugs or issues, as well as determine the most appropriate areas on our site to focus staff resources.
Except as stated already, Rivetz will make no attempt to identify individual users. You should be aware, however, that access to web pages will generally create log entries in the systems of your ISP or network service provider. These entities may be in a position to identify the client computer equipment used to access a page. Such monitoring may be done by the provider of network services, local jurisdictions and governments, and is beyond the responsibility or control of Rivetz.
Rivetz will make no attempt to track or identify individual users, except where there is a reasonable suspicion that unauthorized access to systems is being attempted. In the case of all users, Rivetz reserves the right to attempt to identify and track any individual who is reasonably suspected of trying to gain unauthorized access to computer systems or resources operating as part of Rivetz web services.
As a condition of use of this site, all users must give permission for Rivetz to use its access logs to attempt to track users who are reasonably suspected of gaining, or attempting to gain, unauthorized access or otherwise exploit or manipulate Rivetz websites or services in a manner that may adversely affect the experience or security of other users.
All log file information collected by Rivetz is kept secure and no access to raw log files is given to any third party.
Rivetz websites do not presently store any information that would, on its own, allow us to identify individual users without their permission. Any cookies that may be used by Rivetz websites are used either solely on a per-session basis or to maintain user preferences. We do not share our cookies with any third parties. We do use some third-party services to monitor basic traffic levels (such as Google Analytics) and to provide support resources (such as Intercom). These third parties may store some basic cookies and information and transmit data back to their servers. All third-party services Rivetz uses have indicated to us in writing that they are compliant with GDPR and any policies therein that regulate the collection and use of user data.
Below are some cookies that you may find across Rivetz websites, with a description of their purpose and functionality.
